The Funding

Three tiers, matched to the size of your project

Funding is provided on a co-contribution basis, so the grant covers part of the project cost and your business covers the rest. Pick the tier that fits what you're trying to achieve.

Tier 1

Business Capability

Up to $5,000

Non-competitive

Targeted support to build capability, improve productivity or strengthen operations.

Typical digital project: a website rebuild, a cyber security uplift, or getting a CRM set up properly.

Tier 2

Business Growth

$5,001–$20,000

Competitive round

A defined growth opportunity needing investment to expand, improve competitiveness or enter new markets.

Typical digital project: an e-commerce build, a full marketing system, or automating a workflow that's capping your capacity.

Tier 3

Business Transformation

$20,001–$50,000

Competitive round

Significant projects driving strategic change, innovation or long-term growth.

Typical digital project: custom software, a mobile app, or replacing a stack of disconnected systems with one platform.

How True Blue Fits In

Digital projects we can quote and deliver

The program funds professional advisory and specialist services, including work that improves your digital capability and future readiness. That's the part we do.

Websites & e-commerce

A new site or online store built to bring in work, not just to look tidy. Includes search visibility and mobile performance.

Cyber security uplift

Essential Eight assessment, practical hardening, backup and recovery planning, and staff awareness training.

Systems & automation

Joining up the tools you already pay for so information stops being retyped, and automating the steps eating your week.

CRM implementation

A customer system that actually gets used — leads, quotes, follow-ups, bookings and invoices in one place, set up around how you work.

Digital marketing systems

Search, social, email and advertising set up as a system you can run, with reporting that tells you what's working.

Custom software & apps

Purpose-built tools when off-the-shelf software doesn't fit — internal platforms, customer portals and mobile apps.

AI tools & future readiness

Where AI genuinely saves your team time, how to adopt it safely, and where it's expensive hype you can skip.

Cloud migration & Microsoft 365

Moving off ageing hardware, setting up Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace properly, and making remote work reliable.

Digital strategy & roadmap

A written plan for what to fix, build and retire over the next 12 to 24 months, costed and prioritised.

We write the quote, you submit the application. Tell us what you're trying to fix or build and we'll put together a scope of work and fixed quote you can attach to your GrantsNT application — at no cost, whether or not you're successful.

Eligibility

Can your business apply?

The program is for established Territory businesses that are trading and past the start-up stage. Both for-profit and not-for-profit entities can apply.

Full eligibility criteria, exclusions and the co-contribution requirements are set out in each tier's guidelines and the General Terms and Conditions. Read them on the NT Government program page before you apply, or call the Territory Business Advisors on 1800 193 111.

  • A Territory Enterprise

Your business operates in the Northern Territory.

  • A valid ABN and legal entity

For-profit or not-for-profit entities are both eligible.

  • Established and trading

Ongoing commercial activity, earning a substantial share of income from selling goods or services rather than mainly from grants, donations or fundraising.

  • Past the start-up or idea stage

The program supports existing businesses, not new ventures still getting off the ground.

  • Looking to improve, grow or future-proof

You have a project in mind that strengthens the business rather than just covering running costs.

Common Questions

Grow Your Business, answered plainly

Does True Blue run this grant program?

No. Grow Your Business is a Northern Territory Government program, administered through GrantsNT. True Blue IT Services is a supplier — if your project involves digital work, you can get a quote from us and attach it to your application. The decision to fund sits entirely with the NT Government.

How much do I have to contribute myself?

Funding is provided on a co-contribution basis, so the grant covers part of the project cost and your business covers the balance. The exact ratio is set out in each tier's guidelines on the NT Government program page — read those before budgeting, or call the Territory Business Advisors on 1800 193 111.

What does it cost to get a quote from you?

Nothing. We'll scope the work and give you a written quote to attach to your application at no charge, whether or not your application succeeds. You're also free to get quotes from other suppliers — comparing is sensible, and the guidelines may require it.

When do applications close?

Applications close on Friday 13 November 2026, and opened on Friday 9 October 2026. Tier 2 and Tier 3 are competitive rounds, so a well-prepared application submitted early is worth more than a rushed one on the final day. Get in touch as soon as you can so there's time to scope the work properly.

Which tier should I apply for?

It depends on the size of the project rather than the size of your business. Tier 1 (up to $5,000) is non-competitive and suits a single targeted improvement. Tier 2 ($5,001–$20,000) suits a defined growth project. Tier 3 ($20,001–$50,000) is for significant transformation work. We'll tell you honestly which bracket your project lands in once we've scoped it.

Can the grant pay for software licences or ongoing subscriptions?

The program funds professional advisory and specialist services. Whether specific software, hardware or subscription costs can be included is set out in the tier guidelines, so check those or confirm with the Territory Business Advisors before you build your budget. We'll separate service costs from any licence costs clearly in our quote so it's easy to see.

Can you help me write the application?

We can help you describe the digital project clearly — the problem, the deliverables and the business outcome — which is the part most people find hardest. The application itself is lodged by your business through GrantsNT, and the commercial and financial sections are yours to complete.

What if my business isn't in the NT?

This program is for Territory Enterprises only. If you're in Queensland or Western Australia, the Australian Government's Digital Solutions Program may suit instead — True Blue delivers that across the NT, QLD and WA. Ask us and we'll point you to the right one.

Applications close 13 November. Let's scope your project.

Tell us what you're trying to fix, build or grow. We'll put together a scope of work and a fixed quote you can attach to your GrantsNT application — at no cost.

Or email [email protected] — we answer.
